Therefore, certain settings (such as the number of attempts allowed) are not adjustable by an instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to select assignment options within your Oxford Learning Link Course\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gW439z0OmfI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you are using an OUP-hosted course (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.learninglink.oup.com\/instructor-support\/get-started-with-oxford-learning-link-content-in-my-lms\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/support.learninglink.oup.com\/instructor-support\/get-started-with-oxford-learning-link-content-in-my-lms\/\">rather than one in your institution&#8217;s LMS\/VLE<\/a>), to adjust assignment settings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to <a href=\"http:\/\/oup.instructure.com\">oup.instructure.com<\/a>. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you have only one course, you will enter straight into that course. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Otherwise, select your Oxford Learning Link course from your homepage or from the courses list. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;assignments&#8221; from the left-hand sub menu, and scroll down to the assignment you would like to adjust the settings for. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the three horizontal dots to the far right of the assignment title. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;edit&#8221; from the dropdown menu. An edit assignment dialogue box will appear. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the &#8220;more options&#8221; button in the lower left-hand corner of this dialogue box. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new window will appear. You can change the assignment name, add instructions for the assignment, assign a point value, move the assignment to a new group, adjust how the grade is displayed, and specify when the assignment becomes available and to whom. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After adjusting the assignment options, click the &#8220;save&#8221; button in the bottom right corner of the window.
