After you have launched and published your Oxford Learning Link course, when students encounter protected Oxford Learning Link content they will be prompted to activate their access by selecting one of three methods:
- If they are not ready to redeem a code or make a purchase, they may select “begin a free trial.”
- Beginning a free trial will allow full access to your Oxford Learning Link course materials for the duration of the trial period specified on screen, usually 14 days.
- After the completion of the trial period, students will be prompted to redeem an access code or purchase access in order to continue accessing protected content.
- If the student obtained an access code with their e-book, they will select “redeem access code.”
- If they do not have a code and wish to purchase access directly, they will select “purchase with a credit card.”
If your institution participates in an Affordability Program, and the student has not opted-out, they may be granted access in passing, and not need to take any of the above actions.
